Cosgrove is a member of the American Optometric Association and is an American Academy of Optometry candidate for Fellowship. Cosgrove has special interest in glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and low vision rehabilitation.ĭr. She completed residency training in ocular disease at the Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Cosgrove completed internships at the Detroit VA Medical Center in Detroit, MI, the Battle Creek VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, MI, and at Henry Ford Optimeyes in West Bloomfield, MI. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from Michigan College of Optometry in Big Rapids, MI, where she graduated with honors. Cosgrove attended The University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies. Heitmeyer enjoys spending time with his two dogs, hiking, wine, adventure travel, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.ĭr. Heitmeyer is a member of The American Optometric Association, King County Optometric Society, and Optometric Physicians of Washington. He also regularly volunteers time at the Millionaire Club providing free eye care for the working homeless of Seattle.ĭr. He has participated in humanitarian mission trips to both Honduras and El Salvador. Heitmeyer actively volunteers time providing eye care to underprivileged individuals. Heitmeyer worked at Lomas Eye Care Center where he co-managed over 4,000 Lasik and Cataract patients.ĭr. Prior to co-founding Clearvue Vision Center, Dr. Heitmeyer is a Dry Eye Specialist and frequently lectures and trains other doctors on the topic. He has completed several external rotations focused on ocular disease and surgical co-management. He received his Doctor of Optometry at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where he was recognized with an award for patient care excellence. Heitmeyer performed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University. Gelt enjoys travel, performance arts and spending time with her husband and two children.ĭr. She has provided vision screenings to the military and school children.ĭr. Gelt is very active in her profession, with memberships in the American Optometric Association, Optometric physicians of Washington, and the King County Optometric Society. Gelt has a special interest in glaucoma, dry eye, and diabetic eye disease.ĭr. Gelt worked over 10 years at Lomas Eye Care Center where she co-managed nearly 10,000 Lasik and cataract patients as well as treated much ocular disease.
